PV-Solair

MORE ENERGY AND LESS CO2 EMISSIONS

300% more energy than a conventional PV system and reduces CO2 emissions originated from residential uses.

PV-Solair

SAVE MONEY AND SAVE THE PLANET

Enhanced energy generation & cost savings versus conventional PV installations.

Why PV-SolAir?

PV-Solair

Discover the first commercial 72-cell PV/T air hybrid panel with an electrical output of 385 watt peak and a thermal production of 850 watt thermal under standard conditions.

PV-Solair

A single PVT module generates heat and electricity simultaneously. This significantly reduces the catchment area required to produce a specified amount of energy as compared to traditional installations where photovoltaic and thermal technologies are used separately.

The hot air generated by a PVT panel can be easily conducted indoors and used as a source of heating, thus reducing costs and energy demand.

PV-SolAir’s breakthrough internal heat recovery design upgrades thermal performance and maximizes energy generation per panel.

Thanks to its sleek, full-black design, our monocrystalline PV laminate blends in perfectly with the majority of roofs in Europe. Our panels are specially crafted for better structural integration and improved electrical performance.

PV-SolAir is a turn-key solution with enhanced energy performance and a unique set of  features that set it apart from other products on the market. And all that at a price comparable to major competitors.

Our cutting-edge solar hybrid roof installation system serves as a point of reference in domestic, commercial and industrial installations of between 2 and 200 kW.

PHYSICAL MODELS FOR THE DESIGN OF PHOTOVOLTAIC/THERMAL COLLECTOR SYSTEMS

Université de Pau et des Pays de L’Adour

Three electrical models, the single-diode, the double-diode, and the multi-diode models were developed to study the energy performance of the PV/T system.

To evaluate the electrical performances of the PV cell/module/array, various Works have been conducted with the aim of developing physical models that imitate the electrical behavior of the PV cell. It was concluded that:

  • The single-diode and the double-diode models are the most suitable to design the PV/T electrical performances.
  • Temperature has a significant effect on the electrical performance of the system. Electrical models need to be refined and improved to account this effect in the design of these technologies.

AIR-BASED HYBRID PHOTOVOLTAIC/THERMAL SYSTEMS: A REVIEW

Université de Pau et des Pays de L’Adour

In recent years, a number of Photovoltaic/Thermal (PV/T) air designs were tested and investigated. However, it is challenging to assess whether a sophisticated design will be significantly more efficient than a basic one. This paper intends to outline different investigations conducted over the last years on photovoltaic-thermal technology. Findings from theoretical and experimental works, aiming to improve the efficiency of this technology regarding electrical and thermal power, are presented and discussed. […]
